Jana Sublett is a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and a 1997 graduate of Warren Central High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government (2001) and a Master’s in Public Administration (2006) from Western Kentucky University. Before working as the Executive Director of CASA of South Central KY, she worked as the Museum Rental Coordinator for the National Corvette Museum. Previously, Sublett was employed by LifeSkills as the Community Employment Services Manager. Sublett also served as the Campaign Manager for Warren District Judge John B. Brown in 2007 and Warren Circuit Judge David Lanphear in 2014. She has participated on various Bowling Green Chamber committees, including serving as the Bowling Green Chamber Ambassador President in 2017 when she also named Ambassador of the Year. Sublett is also the past President of the Leadership BG Alumni Association. Jana is also active with the Women’s Fund of South Central Kentucky, a past President of the Young Professionals of Bowling Green (2008), a graduate of the 2006 Leadership Bowling Green Class, and was the inaugural ATHENA Young Professional Award recipient in 2008. Jana volunteered as a CASA volunteer from 2002 – 2009 before working for the organization. She looks back on her time as a CASA as one of the most rewarding things she has ever done.
Jana enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports (UK basketball, all WKU sports, and the New England Patriots football), traveling, and is an avid concert-goer. She became a puppy mommy to a Havanese named Phoebe in September 2020.
