Misty holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Western Kentucky University and is also a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). She has been a HANDS Supervisor with the Barren River District Health Department for nearly 15 years. She also serves as a certified Great Kids Inc., Integrated Strategies for Home Visiting trainer for new home visitors across Kentucky and specifically for the HANDS program. In the past, she has worked for seven years at Hope Harbor in various roles.
