The Jason Foundation, Inc.
The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) was founded in October of 1997 after the tragic death of Jason Flatt, JFI’s Founder and President, Clark Flatt’s youngest son, to the “silent epidemic” of youth suicide at the age of 16. Since its founding, JFI has grown to be one of the nation’s leading non-profits addressing the national health crisis of youth suicide. The Jason Foundation, their National Community Affiliates, and National Awareness Affiliates create a national network of over 125 local Affiliate Offices located in 33 states. This network makes programs and services available for all fifty states. Since its inception, JFI has never charged for any program or resource they have contracted to provide.
